2020年は hideが空に旅たって22年目・23回忌メモリアルイヤー


命日である 5月2日には『hide Memorial Day 2020』を開催する予定でしたが
新型コロナウイルス感染拡大という大きな壁により
hideが愛したファン、ご関係者の皆様の命を最優先に考え
中止という苦渋の決断をしました。


その後も世界的な規制や制限などが続きましたが
沢山の方々のご協力により
hideの誕生日である12月13日に
トリビュートライブ『hide Birthday Party 2020 Sing along live “Hi-Ho!”』が
hideとしては初となる無観客・有料配信ライブという新しい形で開催できたことを大変嬉しく思っています。


今回の【Sing along live "Hi -Ho!"】は
今も色褪せることなく愛され続けるhideの名曲を
会場のhideの映像、アーティスト、画面前のオーディエンスで
一緒に声をあげて歌おう!がコンセプト。


ライブ会場となったCLUB CITTA’には、
ゆかりの深いアーティストやスペシャルゲストが次々と駆けつけ、自ら選曲したhideの名曲を披露してくれました。

このライブを通じて、あらためてhideの音楽から勇気を、
そして、出演者のパフォーマンスから場所は離れていても想いは必ず届くという大きな希望をいただきました。

今、世界中で困難と向き合っている皆さんにも、今回のライブ映像をお届けしたいと思い、
【Sing along live "Hi -Ho!”】ダイジェストムービーを特別公開することにしました。

この映像で一人でも多くの方に勇気と希望をお届けできますように。
そして1日も早く、世界中の皆さんが安心して笑顔で過ごせる日が訪れることを願っています。

hide The 23rd Memorial プロジェクトはこれからも続々と展開予定です。

The year 2020 marks 22 years since hide left us for his trip to the sky and his 23rd memorial year.

We had planned his memorial event,
“hide Memorial Day 2020,” but due to the ever-growing wall that has been the ongoing spread of COVID-19, it was with a heavy heart that we cancelled the event. Our number one priority was and still is the health and safety of the fans who love hide and all people involved.

From that time global regulations and restrictions continued.
However, with the cooperation of many individuals we are very happy to announce that on hide’s birthday, the 13th of December, we will be able to present to you in this new form of event the tribute live,
“hide Birthday Party 2020 Sing along live “Hi-Ho!””
hide’s first ever audience free pay-per-view live event.

The concept of this time’s, “Sing along live "Hi -Ho!" ” is to have everyone sing along to some of hide’s ever-loved never-fading hits. That means hide via video at the venue, the participating artists and of course viewers like YOU from in front of your screen! Sing out loud with everyone!

At CLUB CITTA, the venue holding the event, there will many amazing artists and special guests with deep ties one after the other showing off the masterpieces, of their selection, that are hide’s music.

Through this live we hope that even though even though you are far apart from the actual performances you can once again spread courage via hide’s music. We are sure it will reach you.

Even now the entire world is facing difficulties and struggles, but this time in hopes that this live video will reach you we have decided to special release the digest movie,
“Sing along live "Hi -Ho!””

With this video we hope that we can send courage and hope to even just one more person in this world. It is also our greatest hope, from the bottom of our hearts, that even one day faster the time will come when the people of this world can return to a life where they can feel relief and smile.

The, “hide The 23rd Memorial,” project still has so much more in store.
We will continue to spread the, “music,” and, “messages,” that hide left us.
